The passion for sound

From early childhood, I was amazed at how beautiful nature’s pure sounds are, and in awe of the majesty of thunder. Even of the physical feeling from manmade thunder, from gunpowder. Later in life came music, there I found emotional tunes, but missed the purity and majestic feeling. Later I found out, speakers and subwoofers are much slower than gunpowder, well that explains the letdown. This must be rectified.

20 years of hands-on live testing all different types of sound systems and studying sound, finding where the difference lies. The modern market is full of marketing promises, of smaller, easier and cheaper, short cuts that will never deliver that true physical experience of audible pleasure that I’m seeking.
